Be Still + Know Stoneware Mug — 14 oz.

Some mornings begin quietly.

Others begin with the dog needing out, somebody looking for something they swear they left on the counter, three notifications before you've even had coffee, and a brain that's already six hours into the day.

Either way, this is a good thing to remember:

Be still, and know.

Inspired by the words of Psalm 46:10, this 14-ounce stoneware mug is a simple reminder to stop for a moment and remember who God is before the noise of the day gets too loud.

The cream stoneware has a softly speckled finish, natural bottom detail, and simple black lettering on both sides. Each mug is handcrafted, so slight variations in the stoneware make every one a little different.

Fill it with coffee before the rest of the house wakes up. Make tea in the afternoon. Pour in drinking chocolate on the first truly cold night of the year.

And maybe linger over it for a minute longer than necessary.

Why We Chose It

Because sometimes faith belongs on the kitchen table.

We don't need every object in the house to announce what we believe. But we do love the quiet ones that remind us.

Be still, and know.

Four little words from Scripture that can mean something different depending on the day you're having—and words worth encountering again while you're standing in the kitchen waiting for the coffee to finish.

We chose this mug because it's useful, beautiful, and quietly rooted in faith.

That's enough reason for us.

How We'd Use It

Honestly?

Constantly. 😂

Morning coffee. Afternoon tea. Hot chocolate after supper. Something warm beside a book when the house has finally gone quiet.

Its neutral cream-and-black design also makes it the kind of mug we'd leave hanging on the mug tree or sitting on an open shelf rather than hiding in the cabinet.

And for For the First Cold Night, we'd fill it with our Nicaraguan Drinking Chocolate, light the candles, and consider ourselves officially unavailable for the evening.
